Email support@rotatefly.com and a person will read it. Including the flight number and date makes almost any question faster to answer.

What the percentage means

The headline number is the chance your flight leaves within one hour of its scheduled departure time. The app also shows the chance it leaves within three hours of schedule, and the risk that it is cancelled. They are estimates from a model, not a guarantee, and they are built from public and licensed flight data: the airline’s posted status, the inbound aircraft, FAA ground programs, weather at the origin, and historical performance for that airline, airport and route. Always confirm with your airline.

Every flight you unlock shows what moved its odds, so you can judge the reasoning rather than take the number on faith.

Why the odds changed

Odds update as the day develops — a delay posts, the inbound aircraft lands late, a ground delay program is issued, weather turns. Open a flight and look at “What’s driving this” and the odds history to see what changed and when.

Odds stop updating once the aircraft is off the ground. After that the app shows progress and arrival information instead.

Notifications and Live Activities

Tracking starts 48 hours before departure. Before that a flight sits in Queued and shows only its schedule, because a forecast that far out would be a base rate dressed up as a prediction.

For each flight you unlock, we notify you on changes that would alter what you do: a cancellation, a diversion, boarding starting, a materially worse delay, or a large move in the odds. We deliberately do not notify on small fluctuations. Alerts refresh most often in the hours when you can still act on them.

If notifications are not arriving, check Settings › Rotate › Notifications, and Live Activities in the same place. Both must be on.

Purchases and subscriptions

Looking a flight up is free and shows its route and scheduled departure time. To see its odds and track it — the list, alerts when the odds or status change, and the Live Activity — you unlock the flight. Your first two flights are free. After that, unlock one flight at a time with a one-time purchase, or subscribe to Rotate Pro, which unlocks every flight while it is active. The app shows each price in your currency before you buy.

A lookup that fails or finds no flight costs nothing, and removing a flight then adding it back never charges again. A one-flight purchase you have not used yet waits as a credit for your next flight, and credits never expire.

Credits, free flights and unlocked flights are kept in your iPhone’s Keychain, so they survive deleting and reinstalling the app on the same phone. They do not move to a new phone.

Rotate Pro belongs to your Apple Account. On a new phone, or if Pro is not showing, tap Restore at the bottom of the app’s main screen, or Restore Purchases on the unlock screen. To cancel, go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and flights you unlocked while subscribed stay unlocked.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you paid for a flight and it never tracked, email support@rotatefly.com with the flight number and date and we will look into it. The full details are in the Terms of Use.

A flight isn't found

Enter the flight as the airline writes it — UA51, AA100, B61. Codeshare numbers often do not resolve; the operating carrier’s number usually does. Schedules are typically available a few days ahead, so a flight months out may not be found yet.

Something looks wrong

Flight data comes from third parties and is occasionally wrong or stale. If a time or status looks incorrect, tell us the flight, the date and what you expected — that goes into the data-quality log we use to spot providers disagreeing, and it is genuinely useful.

Privacy and terms

Rotate has no accounts and collects only the flights you look up or track and a notification token. Payments go through Apple, and nothing about your purchases is sent to us. Read the privacy policy and the Terms of Use.
